A Nolina, közönséges elefántláb egy különleges megjelenésű szobanövény, amelynek duzzadt, vastag, barna szára (ami elefántlábra vagy palackra emlékeztet) vizet tárol. Noha pálmának hívják, valójában az Agave család tagja. A hosszú, keskeny, sötétzöld, ívelt levelei a szökőkút formájára hasonlítanak.
